 | While treating the infertility Patients and managing the high risk Obstetrics cases, this kind of intervention is incomplete without a Neonatology backup.
And this is one of the aspects of the hospital we are very proud of – to present the state of the art and sophisticated level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Having a floor plate of 3000sq ft, the NICU has a facility of 30 beds, which is a state of the art facility. |

8 Ventilators – 1 High Frequency Oscillatory Ventilator (Sensor Medics), 1 Servo-I with supportive graphics. 3 Bear Cub -750 PSV.
Arterial Blood Gas Analyzer
In house ECHO machine (LOGIQ 5 pro)
Portable X-Ray
ETCO2 monitor, Cardiac monitors, Pulse oximeters, Servo controlled warmers, incubators, infusion pumps and double surface phototherapy units.
There has been nearly 500 ventilations in the past three and a half years with survival rate more than the world average.
The department has all facilities for providing Surfactant therapy, Exchange Transfusions, Umblical & radial arterial lines, epicutaneocaval catheterization, etc.
Maximum usage of Surfactant (Survanta) in our state.
Staff nurse and baby ratio of 1:1.
Very low birth weight babies constituting about 30% of the NICU admissions.
Retiniopathy of Prematurity Screening & Laser Treatment, Developmental Assessment Clinics.
Neonatal Transport Ambulance with Servo Controlled Warmer and Ventilator. |
